Who needs crossword puzzles?

February 20, 2008 · 6 Comments

I’ve heard that doing crossword puzzles and soduku and those types of things is supposed to keep your mind sharp. Yeah, I don’t need those. I have the infinite number of things going on in my everyday life to keep my mind sharp thankyouerymuch. And while I do work full time, I only have ONE school age kid! Those of you with more than one? You must be freakin’ geniuses! I bow down to you.

Yes. It’s easy when no one FORCES you to do it ;-)

I am a freakin’ genius!!! However, having three rather than two school age kids must deplete the genius quality . . . Alto2 is in WDW alone with her 3 school age kids right now . . . that is just nuts!

LOL! I think you are right Calvin. At some point there are diminishing returns I suppose ;-)

you’re so right, I don’t know how they do it. One kid keeps me on my toes, and she’s really well behaved. How do people with more kids than parents manage?

    I love crosswords, though.

I love the Sunday NYT crossword puzzle. DH and I fight over who gets first crack at it. He loves Sudoku, but it drives me bat-shit. My MIL loves those cryptograms, and they should be outlawed. And, BTW, I am a freakin’ genius. Pbbbbbbft.
